Alleviating food insecurity in the greater Hudson Community.
The Hudson Food Cupboard knows that a little support can make a difference. We are a volunteer organization working hard to promote the idea of giving within the community. It is our greatest hope that our assistance will help families through difficult times and that they will be blessed with better times ahead.
Welcome to the
Hudson Food Cupboard
We want you to experience the kindness of our volunteers, a private scheduled appointment, and a large selection of items. Whether you are a Hudson resident or from another St. Croix County community, we want you to know you are welcome. There is no income requirement nor will you be asked for that information. You will be greeted respectfully, no matter your circumstances.
Shopping Experience
By calling for an appointment you will be guaranteed a private, in-person shopping experience. Parking by the door is available to help with getting your groceries to your car.
We are not a food rescue operation and do not receive government surplus food through the TEFAP program. Items have been checked for ‘best by’ dates to confirm expiration dates. We have a wide variety of items, such as soup, canned vegetables and beans, ethnic items, rice, pasta, and personal hygiene products. Each family selects about 150 pounds of food at their visit, with additional food available for larger families. You will also receive a food coupon and a coupon for a gallon of milk to redeem at the local grocery store.
Families currently receiving assistance from either the Backpack Program and/or Cornerstone Church are “welcome” to utilize the services of the Hudson Food Cupboard.
